A few years ago I needed a quick baked good to take with me to a last minute Christmas get together. So I scoured the pantry and came out with a package of Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie mix and a box of candy canes. Crushed the canes and through together the mix as directed. Before baking I lightly pressed the top of each dough ball into the candy cane and cooked them on non stick foil. They were great...and EASY! Now these are my go to cookie when I need something quick around Christmas (or year round if the kids request them and I have candy canes on hand).
